This course introduces the student to the theory and practice of counseling clients with substance use and addictive disorders as well as substance-induced disorders. Students will develop a familiarity with the diagnostic criteria as well as the current theories and models of etiology and treatment.

2025SU1-GCO-520-HF - Group Dynamics I

This course introduces the student to the fundamental skills and major theories of group counseling. An emphasis is placed on discussions regarding the integration of theory with practice.
