This course focuses on the student as a consumer of research and introduces the components of qualitative and quantitative nursing research and evidence-based practice. This course is designed to help students articulate relevant clinical practice-based questions, search and critically appraise the evidence, and discuss the application of evidence in nursing practice to improve the delivery of health care. Students will learn the tools needed for the translation of research into practice.
