Course information

This course familiarizes prospective middle school and secondary preservice teachers with the interrelated areas of Theatre instruction. Preservice teachers will plan lessons utilizing varied instructional strategies including collaborative learning, interactive approaches to teaching theatre to all types of students, and producing, maintaining, and delivering a dramatic production. Preservice teachers will also become acquainted with current research related to the New Jersey Student Learning Standards, 21st Century Literacies, and the NJ Professional Standards for Teachers.
