This course covers the core skills and knowledge needed to effectively function in a case management capacity for clients experiencing mental health and substance use disorders. Coverage of topics includes strengths-based assessment, goal setting, assessment of client needs, managed care, and advocacy as well as how to identify and secure social services and support services available for clients.
